Taipei, Here We Come!

The 18 students with 3 chaperones ready to fly to Taipei

Post by Alex Chen

It’s soon going to be past midnight here at SeaTac Airport, but you wouldn’t know it based on the good vibes and high expectations from the students. What a way to start our Spring Break! We have got a long 12 hour+ flight ahead of us, but we are all excited for what is in store.

Some of us are looking for food, others wish to shop, a couple are already taking advantage of their newly purchased neck pillows and catching some shut eye. It’s the beginning of a 10 day journey for us and we hit the ground running once we land. Below, is our Day 1 itinerary. I promise we will be sending photos and videos or all our adventures on this blog.

Everyday, one or two of the students will post something on this blog. This can range from a photo essay to opinions or reflections of the days activities. We wish you could all come along with us but we will do our best to make it seem like you are right here in Taiwan with us.

Students figuring out where they are sitting

It’s almost time to start boarding so I will end it here for now. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns or wish to make requests for the blog. We hope you will return often to catch up on our adventures!

Love the photos and the updates. Thanks. I hope all the NW students take the adults’ advice and get some sleep on the plane! Looks like a very full Day 1! I think the Kamerling’s will feel much better when I hear that Adam has safely collected everyone’s passports!

    Good luck everyone!
